Common questions

How much does heating repair cost?

It depends on the job and how bad the problem is. That is why the first step is a phone call. Describe the problem and get your free estimate on the phone, with upfront pricing.

Will I talk to a real person?

Yes, you will.

Do I need to fill out a form?

No forms and no waiting on emailed quotes. One phone call is all it takes.

Can I get help at night or on a weekend?

We have heating pros ready to help families in the community 24/7, but moment-to-moment availability depends on demand. Call to find out how soon we can service your home.

Should I wait to call?

You already know that heating problems don't go away on their own. And waiting just increases the risks to your house. Heating pros see this hesitation all the time. Instead of regretting not calling earlier, just make that 2-minute call now and get your free estimate.

People also ask

Can heating equipment be used after a flood?

Submerged controls, gas valves and burners are replaced rather than dried and reused. Manufacturers are explicit about that, and the reasoning is safety.

Does a raised pad solve it?

It helps considerably by putting controls above the likely water line. It does not replace dealing with why the cellar floods.

What about a boiler that was only partly wet?

It still needs assessment before it runs. A technician near Guilford checks what was submerged rather than assuming the top of the unit tells the story.

Should a system be shut off if water is rising?

Yes. Turn it off at the thermostat and at the breaker, and leave it off until it has been inspected.
